Are your accessories suitable for all squat racks?

Our cross-compatible accessories are suitable for most mainstream squat racks in the UK. These are the grip bars and handle attachments that clip onto the end of your cable pulleys. For accessories that slot directly into the holes on the rack’s uprights, like J-hooks and spotter arms, these need to be from the same product line as your rack as different products have different hole sizes.

Can I use your accessories if my rack is from a different manufacturer?

You can use our cross-compatible accessories with any rack. We have a range of bars and grip handles that allow you to target different muscles when you’re training. 

Please note that any accessory titled “Phase 2/3/4” or “Multi-Functional Trainer” is only suitable for that product line.

What racks can I use your Multi-Functional Trainer accessories with?

You can use our Multi-Functional Trainer line of accessories with the standard Multi-Functional Trainer and the Advanced Multi-Functional Trainer.

What racks can I use your Phase 2 accessories with?

You can use our Phase 2 accessories with the Phase 2 Quarter Rack (plate-loaded and pin-loaded), the Phase 2 Freestanding Folding Rack (plate-loaded and pin-loaded), the Phase 2 Freestanding Squat Rack and the Phase 2 Wall-Mounted Folding Squat Rack.

What racks can I use your Phase 3 accessories with?

You can use our Phase 3 accessories with the Phase 3 Power Rack, the Phase 3 Dual Cable Stack and any other configuration in the modular Phase 3 line.

What racks can I use your Phase 4 accessories with?

You can use our Phase 4 accessories with the Phase 4 Cable-Equipped Multi-Functional Squat Rack (with and without smith machine), the Phase 4 Power Rack and any other configuration in the modular, commercial-grade Phase 4 line.

Which accessories should I buy?

It’s your rack to customise at the end of the day, but there are some accessories that we think complete a gym space.

A tricep rope is a very popular accessory and one of the most effective ways of training your triceps through pulldowns and overhead extensions. You can also double it up for hammer bicep curls to target the bicep long head and brachialis.

Some barbell clips are a must-have for training safely in heavy barbell lifts.

Our set of five dynamic grip handles are a winner for pull days. The various shapes and sizes allow you to target different muscles in the back as you’re training. Use the close grip handles in cable rows to emphasise your rhomboids, multifidus and erector spinae, and the wide grip handles to focus on your latissimus dorsi and on building width.

Finally, adding a lat pulldown seat to your setup if you have a Phase 3 rack is a great way to bring one of the main exercises from the gym into your home.

Do your accessories come with carabiners?

They don’t. All of our racks do, but if you’re only buying an accessory from us them you’ll need to get a carabiner from elsewhere. You can find cheap ones online for under £10.

What’s the benefit of using different grip bars?

The grip you use when you train alters the target muscle. Our dynamic grip handles offer a range of neutral grips which are great for targeting the back in particular. Our EZ curl bar attachment can reduce strain your wrists and target your biceps more effectively than a straight bar and a V-Bar attachment positions your arms really naturally for training triceps. It’s not essential to have different grip bars, but it’s certainly nice to have.

What’s a landmine attachment for?

The most common exercise to use a landmine for is the T-Bar row. You can also use it for landmine press, which is a shoulder exercise, though this is more niche.

What’s a leg roller for?

Leg rollers can be used for a number of home gym hacks. Some of our favourites include split squats, nordic curls, back extensions and even preacher bicep curls.

What’s a belt squat for?

Belt squats are primarily used for squats, but can be adapted for movements like RDLs and even bent over rows.

What are jammer arms for?

Jammer arms are a great addition to a home gym and are primarily used for chest press and rows.

What are monolifts for?

Monolifts are a safety attachment that can make it easier to rack and re-rack your barbell in heavy compound movements. Since they move with the barbell, it means you can squat in one place which some people find more comfortable than having to step in and out of the rack.
