What accessories do you recommend in a home gym?

Besides that, a gym mat is an easy win for being able to perform floor exercises on a comfortable surface and resistance bands can be used to target pretty much every muscle in your body.

How do I use resistance bands?
Resistance bands have multiple uses, but are most popular for warming up and building flexibility. For experienced lifters, they can also be used to add extra resistance to heavy movements. They’re an affordable way to upgrade any home gym and training space. Coming in varying levels of resistance, they allow you to gradually increase your strength without having to invest in a full weight set. A couple of exercises we suggest trying are assisted pull ups and resistance band rows.

What are slam balls used for?
Slam balls are a clever accessory for building functional fitness. The most common exercise to use them for is a slam ball throw, where you simply slam the ball against the floor with an optional jump in there for good measure, though they can also be used for Russian twists and weighted sit-ups. Avoid going too heavy with these if you’re just starting out — a 6kg or 8kg slam ball will give you plenty of resistance to play with.

What’s an exercise ball used for?
Exercise balls are used in homes, studios and gyms to build stability and balance. They can be used in a number of ways, from leaning against them in a plank position to using them as a elevator for push ups. They’re also used in Pilates and yoga.

What’s a plyo box used for?
Plyo boxes are a common piece of equipment for athletes. Their unique shape allows the user to perform leaps and jumps to three different levels of height. Some plyo boxes are made of wood, but we’ve used a high-density foam padding for grip and extra comfort.

What are drop pads used for?
Drop pads are used to cushion the fall of a barbell during Olympic weightlifting. In movements like a clean and jerk, the user drops the barbell from height. Drop pads are there to protect the floor, barbell and weight plates from damage.

Do you offer free delivery?
Yes, all orders over £50 qualify for free shipping. Please note that orders to Northern Ireland and certain areas of Scotland may incur additional delivery charges.

How long after ordering until I receive my items?
Most of our accessories can be shipped on a one-day service if the order is placed before 12pm, with the exception of drop pads and plyo boxes since they’re larger items. Please allow 3-5 working days for these.
