Our Phase 3 Compact Cable Squat Rack with Smith Machine is one of our most anticipated releases to date, developed in response to huge customer demand for a 2-metre rack that offers the commercial look and functionality without compromising on performance. Built from heavy-duty 75x75mm, 3mm steel, this compact yet powerful system delivers everything you’d expect from a full-sized rack in a smaller, space-efficient footprint.

The rack features four precision cable pulleys offering both 1:1 and 2:1 ratios, allowing for a wide range of movement patterns and exercise variations. Each side is fitted with a 90kg weight stack, providing 45kg of resistance through the 2:1 adjustable pulleys for controlled, functional training, and a full 90kg load on the top 1:1 pulleys—perfect for heavy movements such as lat pulldowns and high pulls. The adjustable pull-up station has been thoughtfully redesigned with an angled grip system to improve ergonomics and ensure easy access in and out of the rack without obstruction, all while maintaining the 2m height limit.

The integrated unweighted Smith bar, a MuscleSquad standard, provides the stability and safety of fixed-plane training—ideal for exercises such as squats, bench presses, incline presses, and rows. Standing at just 2 metres tall, the Phase 3 Compact Cable Squat Rack is optimised for users up to approximately 6’2”, offering a full range of motion across all lifts, including lat pulldowns and low rows, without the weight stack interfering with the frame. Designed to meet the needs of strength, hypertrophy, and functional training, this rack bridges the gap between traditional power movements and dynamic cable exercises, making it the perfect centrepiece for both home gyms and smaller commercial facilities.
