The quick answer: plate-loaded options are cheaper, but slower to use and restricted to a 1:1 ratio.
Plate-loaded racks pull the weight from the same plates that you use on your barbell, helping you keep the costs down. A pin-loaded machine uses a dedicated weight stack that can be changed instantly between weights, like what you're used to in a commercial gym.
Besides from being cheaper, another consideration is that all of our plate-loaded machines run on a 1:1 cable ratio. This is worth understanding, so we've written a full explainer on cable ratios to help you know which rack is right for you.
Yes, we offer interest-free finance for 12 months and interest-bearing finance up to 48 months through our partners Novuna. Applications are subject to status and eligibility.
Your package will be delivered on a pallet to the nearest kerbside to your address, since our delivery partners aren't insured to bring it onto your property. You'll be contacted to arrange a suitable delivery date before it arrives.
Every rack in this range comes with a 10 year warranty on the frame. Everything else in the package, including your bench, dumbbells and accessories, is covered by our standard 12 month warranty.
We offer a professional installation service in select postcodes. Get in touch at sales@musclesquad.com for a bespoke quote. Outside our coverage, we can refer you to one of our trusted installation partners.
Your package will be delivered by our delivery partner on a pallet to the nearest kerbside to your address. They'll contact you within 48 hours of your order to arrange a convenient delivery day. Please arrange disposal of the pallet yourself, as our couriers won't take it away. Delivery usually takes 5 to 10 working days, depending on your location.
Since a starter package is made up of several heavy items, it may arrive in more than one delivery. No single box weighs more than 25kg.

During the warranty period we will repair or replace, at no charge, products or parts of the product defective because of improper materials or workmanship, under normal use and maintenance.
Warranty does not cover
- Damage of the product resulting from negligence, e.g. dropping the product
- Damage of the product resulting from unauthorised modification of the product
- Damage caused by weather or natural disaster, e.g. rust if the product is kept outside
- The product must only be used indoors in a temperature controlled environment and be left dry.
- Theft or loss of the product
- Improper cleaning
- No chemical solution should be sprayed directly onto the product, as it can remove the paint, ceramic coating, ionised or chromed finish and cause rust. Any damage to the product from chemical products will void the warranty.
To obtain warranty service please email info@musclesquad.com including full details of the problem including photos where possible. We will respond with a resolution within 48 hours.
